Last night I was going a little bit crazy [nothing out of the ordinary, but still slightly crazy] and I happened to be talking to Beth Lipman. After I vented for a few minutes she asked me if she could call me and that I should "give her a few". Now, in my head, I knew that Beth has shown up outside of my house randomly and I considered the fact that maybe maybe she'd come and visit me. She did. I love her for that. Sometimes I need to be forced out of my house. I guess I could have predicted it also because she suggested I do something relaxing or something I don't usually do. Hence, her visiting me and bringing me somewhere.
Well, we went on an interesting ride. We went to the Mount hah and she let me stick myself out of her sunroof while she drove around the parking lot really really fast. It was so exhilerating, seriously. It was quite the adrenaline rush haha. Then she made me stand on the steps of the school and scream "I love Mount Saint Dominic".
Beth made me feel alive last night, although I think that statement makes her uncomfortable.
Well too bad. Beth, you made my night and you know this :]

The fact that I don't eat meat or nuts is really taking its toll I think. I believe it is becoming extremely detrimental to my mental growth; I believe I am stunting it gradually more and more. It's actually scary. I know I've been told again and again to watch my Calcium, Protein, and Iron intake, but I think this is really serious because my mind is not what it used to be and that's really frightening because I am only 17.
Therefore, I think I'm going to stop hurting my body and I'm going to actually invest my money in well-needed vitamins. I really need to stick to taking a multi-vitamin or my brain really will turn to mush.
In 2 months I can adopt a vegan diet and I am not going to be stupid about it.

So Pincus and I are going early early early tomorrow morning. I can't wait to go back to camp. I CANNOT WAIT. I don't think I can convey how much I want to go back :] People are there now, I wish I were there now! but that's okay, because tomorrow morning I will be!

These days all feel the same. I wonder why I go to sleep anymore. In fact, the halfway sleepless nights really make the days all blur together. The routine is killing me! It's varied routine, but still! I cannot wait for Winter Break! I am truly excited about this lovely little period of time away away away from academics at the Mount. I really need to separate myself from the action of GOING to school. Things have been so crazy lately and I'm not sure why.

So Day One is almost over even though it's only 7:28, I feel like it's much later. I have so much to study! Calculus, History, Biology! Ah. Well anyway, today I have been animal free! and because I've been dirty and haven't taken a shower I technically didn't use any animal products :]

Today is the day that I become vegan.
I've had inspiration from others, namely Miss Alli Koehler, and way too many thoughts for the last few days and I've decided that for a number of reasons including health, money, and the fact that I don't want little particles of animal floating around in me, I've decided to give it a try. I'm hoping I can do it, but we'll see. It's just going to be complicated around the holidays.
Oh well, I need to make this decision and so I am making it. I'm going to become the living and breathing version of what I believe in today.

WOW! Wow. The most ridiculous thing just happened today. I don't mean to make this occurrence a spectacle, but I am extremely angry. Actually, I'm not so much angry as I am just absolutely baffled by what happened this morning.

I came home really tired so at maybe 7:00 I went to take a nap and now it's 11:05! That's funny, that's more sleep than I've been getting every night for the last two days. I know that's so horrible, but it's been happening. No sleep for Maxine. I have a bunch of homework though and it must be done, but now I'm all groggy. What to do what to do. Tomorrow is Thursday though and that's lovely. Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Half of Wednesday and then BREAK!
Even better is the fact that Wednesday doesn't count and Winter Break shall be absolutely AMAZING due to a number of factors including, but not limited to: Midnight Mass!!!, WINTER REUNION :]:]:], all of the cool college kids coming home, the love of my life, CATCHING UP WITH CERTAIN PEOPLE, relaxing? maybe yes!!, new years eve fuun, ALLI AND MAX!, ooooooooh and snow snow snow (hopefully). I'm thrilled. I cannot wait.
That's all for now. Today was just like every other day except the Track team went to Adrenaline (which was interesting...) and I almost peed myself talking to Mary Kate about the most random things during Assembly. Thank God for our conversations.

Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about 5 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. Sometimes in class I talk to myself in my head and I say really strange things in my head because I know that no one else can hear them but I can think them!
2. My skin is really soft because every morning I put lotion on my legs, arms, and face!
3. I get a really really below average amount of sleep.
4. I keep track of everything I eat, every mile I run, and every ounce of water I drink every day.
5. I like to draw pictures of random skeleton parts of the body including the human skeleton, skulls, hands, and feet! but I don't do it very often, just when inspired.
That was more revealing than I intended.

I've been checking the status of my Rutgers Application here and there and a few minutes ago I checked and it said that I have been accepted. I can go to college. YAY. Now, I just have to make sure every part of every other application is complete - too many forms.
